Biography
- Brief introduction of yourself: I am Esta Daudi an academic staff at Sokoine university of Agriculture Department of Animal, Aquaculture and Range science working on the discipline of Physiology and Biochemistry. Currently I am an MSc student pursuing MSc Tropical Animal production a two years programme which started Nov 2022 and expected to end on July 2024

HEET Project Scholarship
- Brief description of the HEET Project Scholarship received: The HEET project is a five-year venture worth $425 million which is TSh972 billion that aims at strengthening the learning environment and labor market alignment of priority programs, while enhancing the delivery of knowledge to produce graduates who meet the demand and standard of the current and future labor market. At SUA, we have been allocated Sh73.6 billion to support the construction and repair of infrastructure, improve curricula, purchase equipment, and facilitate staff training. Implementation of the project is in partnership with the Government of Tanzania and World Bank
- How did the scholarship impact your academic journey? The scholarship has helped me start my MSc studies earlier and gave me amble time to smoothly attend lectures without financial challenges.
- Did the scholarship help you achieve any academic or personal goals? Yes, currently I have accomplished coursework and I am progressing with the research component.
- Did you participate in any HEET Project activities or events? If so, which ones? No
Plans for Future
- What are your future career aspirations? Acquiring knowledge and skills to enhance the delivery of knowledge to produce graduates who meet the demand and standard of the current and future labor market
- How do you plan to use your education to impact your community or society at large? Through producing competent graduates who will benefit the community outside campus and through outreach activities to farmers and community round helping impart simple and easy applicable skills in solving daily challenges in the agriculture sector.

I would like to pass my sincere thanks to the Government of Tanzania and world bank for seeing the need to fund staffs in need of furthering studies. This has solved challenges of delay by staffs who are supposed to further studies and have made it smooth staying at peace with no financial challenges making it easy acquire appropriate skills needed for carrier development.
